Mobisola is the founder of Sofia Legal and the Firm’s Lead Counsel.

She is a commercial lawyer with many years of experience in the resolution of complex commercial disputes through litigation in Nigeria’s trial and appellate courts. She is an experienced negotiator, actively utilizing alternative means of dispute resolution such as negotiation and mediation for resolution of disputes.

Mobisola has extensive arbitration experience cutting across domestic and international commercial arbitrations as she regularly advises and represents clients in these matters.

The areas in which she has provided representation to clients include financial technology, shipping, dredging, commercial real estate, employment,
corporate and commercial law, oil and gas, matrimonial causes and debt recovery.

Before Sofia Legal, Mobisola worked for many years at one of the country’s most notable law firms where she headed various departments and led her different teams to successful outcomes in litigation, arbitration and commercial transactions.

Mobisola is a qualified Chartered Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria and she sits on the board of several companies.
She is an alumnus of the Institute of Maritime Law at the University of Southampton, a member of the Arbitration and ADR Committee of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association as well as the International Council for Commercial Arbitration.

Mobisola is a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
